The Velocity 7700 goal pad is a special series leg pad that has a limited edition graphic and incorporates several popular Pro modification into the design and construction. The 7700 model pad has a narrower side profile from the knee up. This opens up the pad to give a roomier knee section and reduces weight. The more open section on the back side of the pad opens up more room for goaltenders using large knee/thigh guards or larger or longer pants. A new solid one piece top outside roll stiffens the top thigh section of the pad above the knee rolls and gives a more solid blocking surface. Narrow outside panel design reduces weight and gives the pad improved lateral balance. Special two piece inner knee cradle features a layered design that helps secure the knee without having to over tighten straps. Internal core of HD layered foam provide pad stability and strength and firm up the pad edges for more effective puck blocking. Wide inside pad edge and balance stabilizer provide added stability while on the ice.
