The B 8800 Epic pro blocker features a large flat profile side thumb shield that provides extra protection and added blocking surface to the inner edge and side of the glove. The blocking surface features a larger upper board flare for puck deflection on high shots to reduce puck skip over. Beveled edges on the back side of the blocking board reduces weight along the outer edges and improves the balance and feel of the glove. No binding construction on the blocking surface provides added rigidity to the outer perimeter for more effective blocking surface. The bottom of the board is tapered to allow easy transition to the ice during paddle down moves. All new finger protection with multi layered protection over the side index finger for superior impact resistance with high density foams and plastic inserts that provide added coverage. Full pro-spec construction adds protection and durability.
